Happy September!

Happy September 1st! I can't even believe it. Even though it is still technically summer, September and back to school season to me will always signal the start of fall.

Yesterday we made our first Mayer Brothers run to get some fall donuts and apple cider slushies. I am sure we will be back multiple times this season. I took the opportunity of a little bit cooler weather to wear jeans and a rust orange blouse that I picked up at Target last fall. It is a perfect way to bring in fall colors, while not yet breaking out the sweaters.

The classic cinnamon sugar donuts are my favorite, but we also tried caramel apple, and they are also delicious. I also recently discovered that you can make donuts at home using the refrigerated biscuit dough in the tube. We tried it last weekend, and they were incredible and so easy! We saw it on HBO Max watching the new cooking show with Selena Gomez (it's amazing you should watch it. Pandemic TV at its best.) This episode was with Roy Choi, but each episode features a different famous chef. If you are not great at working with dough like me, this recipe is perfect for you.

I really love this rust orange color, and it seems like it is going to be popular again this year!

I love this short sleeved mock neck. It would look great tucked into jeans or a plaid skirt.

I have my eye on this corduroy skirt. Wear now without tights, then add them when it gets a little cooler.

Fall is my favorite season, and I can't wait to celebrate it. I hope everyone has a great week!
